What are the benefits of this?

Car infrastructure is expensive

Electric cars are the future.
Self driving cars are the future.
What about Elon Musk's Loop?
But can't these conditions happen to cyclists as well?
Does that mean no cars at all?
What about the places where there are no public transport?
What is good bike infrastructure?
Does that mean taking away car lanes and parking spaces for better public transportation, better bicycle paths and better pedestrian paths?
Isn't a painted bike lane enough?
But can't you ride a bike on the sidewalk?
Cyclists should pay taxes since they use the roads.
But less lanes means more traffic?
We could solve traffic by adding more lanes.
But how would business survive when people won't be able to drive and park?
What about rural places that needs a car to live?

How do I take my kids to school or bring my groceries around?
What if I have to carry some thing heavy?
There's a lot of hills where I live/I'm old/I'm disabled and I don't have the strength to pedal my bike.
I will get sweaty if I cycle.
It is snowy where I live.
Not everyone can ride a bike.
This is political suicide.

I'm sold. How do I get my city to depend less on cars?
